PLEASE NOTE
There has been a large amount of scientific research done on rooibos largely in South Africa and also in Japan and the United States. Currently there have been no clinical trials. It may not be too long before this happens, as people are becoming increasingly aware of the potential healing properties of this remarkable tea. We do stress that there is no clinical evidence to substantiate the current scientific research. Studies so far have been done only on small numbers of people and not the vast numbers required for clinical trials. |
Many healthcare providers are now realising the benefits of rooibos and encouraging their patients to try using the tea. However if you wish to use rooibos for medicinal reasons please always refer to your health care practitioner before using rooibos for anything other than a delicious and refreshing beverage.
